MY TOPSHOP ORDER!

I’ve never been so happy to open the door at 7.oclock in the morning!

My Topshop order finally arrived .

I tore it open like I was 5 years old on Christmas day.
A beam of colour blinded my eyes.

I ordered the Topshop Aztec jumper/sweat top, which I saw on ‘ThePersianbabe’ however because it was sold out I had to order a petite in a size 6 (this was the only size left) however because I felt that I needed this item in my life right away I placed my order with no hesitation, it was £28 which I thought was a reasonable price.

After trying it on I feel that it fits perfectly it is slightly short but I can get away with it as a cropped jumper, also because it is off the shoulder the sleeves fit well also.

I am happy that I did order this and I feel that it will be perfect to wear with shorts to festivals or casually with jeans/skirts.

The second and final thing (trying to cut down on my shopping) that I ordered was a pair of Topshop Moto seven eighths jeans/trousers in a beautiful pink/ red colour. These were £38 which is the norm for Topshop jeans.

I have wanted a pair of colourful trousers/jeans for a while now but have been looking for the right pair that fit well and don’t make me look like I’m in the circus.

 I am glad to say that the search is OVER! I have finally found the love of my life! The colour suits my skin tone well; they fit me like a glove, I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of these. They are on trend and add personality to any outfit; they are also good for colour blocking.

I am just soo happy that these two new additions to my forever expanding wardrobe wandered into my life!

MAKE A WISH

My Current Wish List

So I know that I want a lot of things (who doesn’t) but I have started to limit myself on what I spend each month! (Let’s see how long this lasts) 

I was in Topshop today and came across these shorts...

They are denim black and white striped hot pants retailing at £32.

I saw them and fell in love with them; they will be perfect on holiday and will look really cute with wellies when I go to T4 on the beach!

I also came across this Aztec vest top... also in Topshop (surprise surprise)

It is multicoloured, high necked and has a beautiful vibrant Aztec print all over.

I was surprised that this was only £18. I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of this top and it is defiantly the PERFECT buy for summer!

I am proud of myself and happy to say that... That is everything on my wish list (FOR NOW) but I’m sure that I will be purchasing all these products within the next 3 weeks, what can I say buying clothes is my main purpose in life!

SURPRISE!

Notes in the draw!

Going to work every day can be boring especially when your friend isn’t working, but I have to say recently at work my shifts have been VERY entertaining! On Saturday I walked in at 8.00 in the morning not feeling up for another day of tedious work when I received a text from my best friend/work colleague,

‘Babe hope u have a good time at work without me (hehehe) don’t miss me too much! P.s look in the draw I’ve left you a present’

When I opened up the draw I found this...

Honestly I have NEVER felt so happy in my life! This made my day!XOXO

Our banter at work sure does make the day go quicker and defiantly makes it more enjoyable.

HAVE YOU BEEN BLUSHED?

 “Blush Berry is Toronto’s premium frozen yogurt destination”

Whilst exploring Toronto I came across ‘BLUSH BERRY’

After researching into the chain I found out that this was NOT just a place to get your average frozen yogurt. Not only do they offer natural premium yogurt with seasonal fresh fruits that are NEVER frozen, (sounds GOOD right?) but 2% of ALL sales are donated to local charitable organisations in the community, as if that is not enough ‘Blush Berry’ have also gone GREEN! They use 100% recyclable bowls, cups and spoons and also use GREEN cleaning supplies to help keep the environment ALIVE!

The decor was absolutely AMAZING both outside and in. Looking like it was something from a film set or story book! After walking past I just had to go in and try one of their specialities.

I had the ‘BLUSH’ which was a pomegranate yogurt with a berry topping! (This was frickin AMAZING guys) it was refreshing and felt like it was sooo good for me, (I would eat this over a BIG MAC ANY DAY)

The experience of eating my VERY OWN blush berry’s frozen yogurt will always remain with me!

ARE YOU ‘NORMAL’?

Kelly Cutrone – ‘Normal Gets Your Nowhere’

It was while I was travelling in Toronto, Canada that I walked past ‘Indigo’ book store; it was at that very moment that my heart almost stopped beating, Right there before my eyes was a poster in their window

 *TUESDAY MAY 24^th, 7pm, KELLY CUTRONE in person!

She would be there to do a signing for her second book ‘normal gets you nowhere’.                                                        I had read Kelly’s first book ‘If you have to cry go outside’ the previous year and thought it was both inspirational and amazing. I have looked up to Kelly for years watching the TV shows

·         The hills

·         The city

And also the amazing

·         Kell on earth

I believe that she is an amazing woman and fucking incredible at her job, people have said that she is a “super bitch” but I feel that she is blunt and honest and in my opinion that makes her even more successful.

After reading Kelly’s first book and feeling as though it had helped me in some way I was more than excited to read her second.                                                                                                                                                                      In I walked (ok, ok so I practically ran) picking up my very OWN copy of ‘normal gets you nowhere’. My goal was to read the entire book before going to get it signed, (this gave me 4 days) however as soon as I opened it up I could tell that this would NOT be a problem. This book too was inspirational, funny, and full of life, advice and personality!

I am not going to go into any detail as it would ruin the experience of reading one of Kelly Cutrone’s books, (and that’s what it was, an enjoyable experience)                                                               

                                                     I was counting down the days left to go until I would meet Kelly Cutrone. Finally the day came, I arrived at ‘indigo’ book store at 5:20pm and already the line was long considering she would not arrive until 7pm.

As I am from a small town we never have anything like this so the experience of going to my first book signing along was exciting enough, not to mention the fact that the author on the particular day was my role model.

As time passed by the line was growing along with my nerves. When Kelly walked through the store EVERY single person there was cheering like CRAZY, as for me, well I could not stop smiling. She looked GREAT, not to mention her killer shoes were totally awesome!!!

The speech that Kelly gave filled not only my eyes but every single person there, she was funny, interesting, caring, inspiring and just a down to earth women. During the signing Kelly was spending around 3 minutes with EACH person which I thought was unbelievable! This showed the kind of person she is and how grateful she was to each person there. I could not think of another (celebrity) that would do the same. After having my book signed I was shaking uncontrollably (2 days later and I am still buzzing with excitement.)

I can honestly say that meeting Kelly Cutrone was an amazing opportunity and a moment that I will remember for the rest of my life! She is humble, kind, funny, independent, inspirational women and my role model in life. Her books are absolutely amazing and if you have not read them I recommend that you do.

I give ‘normal gets you nowhere’ 5/5* it is one of the best books I have ever read! (Including ‘if you have to cry go outside’)

ARE YOU GAGA?

MAC – VIVA GLAM GAGA 2 – Lipstick & Lip Glass

Okay so I’ve wanted this MAC lipstick for a while now and after humming and haring whether to get it or not I decided to take the plunge.

But this is me were talking about so instead of just coming out of the store with the lipstick I ended up buying the lip glass to go with it.

I have to say the packaging is amazing (either that or I get excited way too easily), the red and black look sheen and sheik together and LADY GAGA’S signature on both packaging gives them that extra something. I can assure u that I did NOT buy these products for the packaging as I’m not a huge fan of lady gaga, but it does give it a nice touch.

The colour is really cute, if you’re looking for a true nude then this is the product for you, I believe that it will go well with all skin tones, I myself am quite tanned and I feel that it is just the right nude for me, however I am glad that I DID buy the lip glass to go over the top as the lipstick does need something over the top of it to keep it from looking dull.

The lipstick is an amplifier so the pigment is bold and the application is smooth.

I feel that my lips look full and juicy while wearing the combination, people have complimented on my lips also. I love everything about it, (well almost everything)  I feel that the lip glass tube is rather small considering you are paying allot of money for it, also I can’t figure out if it is the lipstick or lip glass that is casing this problem but after wearing the combination for around 45 minutes I start to get a residue of colour on the inside and corners of my bottom lip, I have found that this is a occurring problem for people with some MAC lipsticks and lip glasses, I have experienced this problem before with other brands but I felt that because it is MAC and you are paying more than normal drugstore products that this should NOT be doing this.

I am very happy that if you DO buy these products then? Much of the proceeds go to?

After weighing in the good and the bad points of these products I WOULD recommend that you go to your nearest MAC store and check them out.

If you are after full, juicy, kissable lips then VIVA GLAM GAGA 2 is the match for you!

LOVING LILAC?

 ALDO LILAC FEILDS NAIL LIQUER

I have been searching and searching for the perfect polish and finally I have found her, this beauty was just $6 from ALDO.

I must say that I am extremely pleased with my purchase, this is a perfect lilac and it complements my skin tone VERY well.

I applied two coats to give it full pigmentation, it was easy to apply and dried quickly, it has lasted for almost a week WITHOUT chipping.

If you haven’t been to ALDO to check out their range of colours then you are seriously missing out, not only did I find this lovely lilac but there were all sorts of different colours that tickled my fancy, I felt like a kid in a candy store.

I would recommend this pretty polish to ANY girl that is Loving Lilac!!
